The New Orleans Film Society (NOFS) and South Arts present a screening of Orion: The Man Who Would Be King (2015), a documentary by director Jeanie Finlay. Orion chronicles the career of Jimmy Ellis, an unknown performer involved in a scheme to masquerade as Elvis back from the grave.

This event is part of South Arts’ Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers. Tickets are $8, and admission is free for NOFS and Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) members. More information and tickets are available on the CAC’s website.
