The Platforms Fund provides grants of up to $5000 to local artist-driven projects.
The Platforms Fund is a collaborative effort of Press Street, Ashé Cultural Arts Center, and Pelican Bomb that will provide grants to a wide range of innovative creative projects in and around New Orleans. The hope of the fund is to support projects that expand the arts ecosystem of the New Orleans region. Grants will range from $1500 to $5000 and a minimum of six awards will be distributed in 2015.
The Platforms Fund is part of a growing national network of regional re-granting programs supported by the Andy Warhol Foundation. Additionally for the 2015-16 grant cycle, the Platforms Fund will partner with Kickstarter to provide direct assistance to a select group of applicants in the development of Kickstarter campaigns for their projects.
Applications are due on January 20, 2015. For more information and to apply, visit the Platforms Fund website.
