On Friday, March 7, at 6 pm at the New Orleans Museum of Art, Michael Marshall will give a lecture on his book _Gallant Creoles: A History of the Donaldsonville Cannoniers. _This will be followed by a discussion on "sugar king" Isaac Delgado with E. John Bullard, NOMA's Director Emeritus, at 7:30 pm.
Marshall's talk will be given in conjunction with the exhibition "Photography and the Civil War_," _while Bullard's presentation is part of the programming related to _Unfathomable City: A New Orleans Atlas, _co-edited by Rebecca Solnit and Rebecca Snedeker.
This event is free with the price of museum admission.
