Openings in the St. Claude Arts District on Saturday, February 8, 6 – 9 pm include:

An exhibition of paintings by Sylvaine Sancton called "Theme and Variations" and John Isiah's pop-up show, "Pretty Women," at Barrister's Gallery (2331 St. Claude Ave).

Two Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibitions--Wendell Brunious' "Influxx" and Jason Childers' "Peripheral Recognition"--at the UNO-St. Claude Gallery (2429 St. Claude Ave).

"Crazy About America," work by member Dan Tague, at Good Children Gallery (4037 St. Claude Ave). This show closes March 9.

Jessie Vogel's mixed media sculpture, work by H. Cole Wiley, sculpture by Brian St. Cyr, and John Isiah's "R You Afraid of the Dark?" at The Front (4100 St. Claude Ave).

Santiago-based painter Matias Santa Maria's series, "Nobody's Land," at Staple Goods (1340 St. Roch Ave).
