Initiated by Imani Jacqueline Brown, Lisa Sigal, and Carl Joe Williams, Blights Out is a community- and artist-led initiative to activate community agency in neighborhood development. The first phase of Blights Out is Home Court Crawl, a project by Lisa Sigal for Prospect.3 that engages in dialogue with blighted homes in three neighborhoods: Mid-City/Tremé, Hollygrove, and St. Roch.

On December 13, Home Court Crawl will host a porch crawl and roving performance of Suzan-Lori Parks’ BURNING facilitated by Junebug Productions and featuring Frederick Delahousssay and Kesha McKey.

The event begins at 2pm at 323 N. Roman Street and is free and open to the public.
