"Viscous Resin Extruding from the Trunk," by Holton Rower, and "Can We Know the Sound of Forgiveness," by James Drake, at Arthur Roger Gallery (432 and 434 Julia St). On view through February 15.
"Megalomania 2" and work by Vito Gallio at the Boyd Satellite Gallery (440 Julia St). On view through January 29.
"Regarding the Incidence of Purpose," a memorial retrospective of oil paintings by Sandy Chism, at Jonathan Ferrara Gallery (400a Julia St). On view through January 20.
"Beneath the Shades," a collection of gouache-on-paper work by Norah Lovell, at Callan Contemporary (518 Julia St). On view through January 28.
"Nine Years Later," a collection of recent paintings by John Clemmer at Le Mieux Galleries (332 Julia St). On view through February 22.
