The John Mitchell Center (JMC) will host “Shifting Currents,” a discussion between three new executive directors in New Orleans, moderated by Pelican Bomb’s Executive Director, Cameron Shaw, on Thursday, June 20 in the Center’s Indigo Building (2285 Bayou Rd). Kim Cook, CEO of the Arts Council of New Orleans; Neil Barclay, Executive Director of the Contemporary Arts Center; and Brooke Davis Anderson, Executive Director of Prospect New Orleans, will introduce their visions and plans for their respective organizations. This panel and town hall meeting seeks to create a forum for public dialogue on the future of our arts institutions among a diverse group of community stakeholders.
