Deutches Haus presents a screening of The Doctor from Stalingrad, a 1958 film based on a popular novel by author Heinz Konsalik, which tells the story of a German surgeon's attempt to care for POWs while in a postwar Russian prison camp. The film stars O.E. Hasse, Eva Bartok, and Hannes Messemer. This screening will be shown "auf Deutsch" with subtitles in English.
