The Joan Mitchell Center will host We Feed Each Other, an event held in conjunction with the Hand-in-Glove conference, Saturday, October 19 at 7 pm. Works Progress (Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN), a public art and design studio led by artists/organizers Shanai Matteson and Colin Kloecker, will set the table for a shared meal. Over dinner and drinks they'll launch a peer-to-peer interview project to document collective learning in the moment, while generating ingredients for a publication celebrating the varied practices, programs, and projects represented at Hand-in-Glove. Conversations will meander through the settings, actions, and results of personal creative work, with a focus on ways that cooperation, peer-to-peer learning, and mutual support sustain organizations and build a community of practice.
All Hand-in-Glove attendees must be registered. Registration is $50. For more information on the Hand-in-Glove conference, click here.
