The Oxford American will be hosting a symposium on New Journalism in the South on Friday, September 28 from 9:30 am-1 pm at The Historic New Orleans Collection Williams Research Center. The symposium will be moderated by Oxford American editor Roger D. Hodge and will consist of two panels: "The Life and Death of a Great American Newspaper: Reorganizing the Times-Picayune" and "Surviving the 24-Hour News Feed: Reporting v. Content Generation."
Panelists include: Kim Bondy, Alex Rawls, Andrew Nelson, Nathaniel Rich, Campbell Robertson, Carl Redman, Justin Shiels, and Steve Beatty.
