White Linen Night

From 6-9 pm, in the 300-700 blocks of Julia Street and along adjacent side streets, more than 20 art galleries will open their doors for the 18th Annual Whitney White Linen Night. Following the event, from 9-11 pm, the official post-Whitney White Linen Night party will be held at the Contemporary Arts Center.

Here's a snapshot of what some participating galleries will be showing:

"Louisiana Contemporary," which includes work by 86 Louisiana-based artists, at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art (925 Camp St).

Works by Holton River, John Pilson, and Rob Wynee at Arthur Roger Gallery (432-434 Julia St).

"NOLA NOW, Part II: The Human Figure" at the Contemporary Arts Center (900 Camp St).

"Between the Pages," works by Aaron McNamee, at Heriard-Cimino Gallery (440 Julia St).

St. Claude Artists group show at Jonathan Ferrara Gallery (400a Julia St).

"They Were Hopelessly Outnumbered," works by John Donovan, at LeMieux Galleries (332 Julia St).

"Mr. I The Bottle Cap Man," works by Mr. Imagination, at Stella Jones Gallery (201 St. Charles Ave).
