Louisiana Shorts: Then and Now at the CAC

In conjunction with the Contemporary Arts Center’s exhibit “Then and Now,” which looks at earlier and later work from Louisiana artists, New Orleans Film Society presents a showcase of four short films representing two decades of Louisiana filmmaking with several of the filmmakers in attendance.

Heavy Brass, a 1998 film by director Paul Grass; Mutiny, the 1999 Sundance selection by director Henry Griffin; Glory at Sea, the 2008 Sundance selection (and winner of the Narrative Short prize at the 2008 New Orleans Film Festival) by director Benh Zeitlin; Statue, the winner of the Louisiana Shorts award at the 2010 New Orleans Film Festival by director Andrew Bryan.

Admission: $5 for NOFS / CAC members, $7 general admission.
